MAKE AN IMPACT
Oversee four livestream gaming charity initiatives per year
Coordinate all required pre-event preparation
Serve as the Philanthropy department point-person on the day-of events
Handle all post-event tasks, including disbursement of incentives, thanking of content creators, and post-mortem evaluation debriefs
Create a year-long DIY fundraising strategy
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with members of the gaming and streaming communities, providing them with everything they need to successfully raise funds on our behalf. Serve as the point person for any community related questions about amfAR or the mechanics of peer-to-peer fundraising
Work with the prospect researcher to identify candidates to partner with us in the gaming and streaming communities
Work closely with the Manager of Direct Response to coordinate mass engagement to benefit the established peer-to-peer fundraising strategy
Work closely with the PI social media team to coordinate messaging and strategy on Twitter with the gaming/streaming communities leading up to events and in between events; also, work together on creating a year-round calendar of social media fundraisers centered around awareness days and birthday fundraisers across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
Evening and weekend work required to oversee livestream fundraising events – typically this can be done remotely.
SHOW US YOUR SKILLS
Bachelor's degree required with at least 1-3 years’ experience in the non-profit sector or in sales
Proven knowledge of the livestream gaming/fundraising community and other DIY fundraising methods
team orientated, has strong initiative, and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills required
Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment and with a multidisciplinary staff of professionals
