ggLocators is excited to announce Lauren Bailey as our Social Media Marketing Intern for the summer of 2021!
We welcome Lauren as a rising Senior at High Point University majoring in Marketing and minoring in Strategic Communications focused on building the ggLocators brand as the unrivaled experts in gaming recruitment. When asked why she chose to major in marketing, she explained, “I liked the creative side of business, and knew that whatever I did, I still wanted to be able to use my creativity.”
An Interest in the Gaming Industry
The gaming industry has always interested Lauren as it is rapidly evolving and the innovations of the industry have significant impacts in every industry. She says, “I always have the urge to learn and grow, so learning more about the gaming and recruiting industry has been very interesting to me. This experience has also helped me confirm that a career in Social Media Marketing is definitely what I want to pursue after my graduation.” Lauren enjoys being in a fast-moving industry and is excited to see how the gaming industry will impact different industries across the globe.

Lauren found the Social Media Marketing internship job posting at ggLocators through LinkedIn. She felt that this was the perfect opportunity to start her career journey and get hands on experience in an innovative industry. She says, “I hope to learn more about the industry as a whole and how I can utilize my abilities to strategically market to clients and candidates in such a unique space. I can already say ggLocators has taught me vital tools to help me develop my graphic design and social media management strategy skills as I start out my career journey and I am looking forward to the continued growth.”
Outside the Office
Outside the office, Lauren likes to spend time with her friends and family and most importantly, her two dogs, Raven and Kobe. We are pleased to welcome Lauren and look forward to seeing her continued success as part of the ggLocators team as our summer 2021 Social Media Marketing Intern!
