ggLocators is excited to welcome Niccole Minka as Managing Director! Niccole attended Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island where she studied Business Management. Originally from Worcester, Massachusetts and seeking warmer weather and the desire to grow professionally in a fast-paced city, she quickly fell in love with Charlotte and relocated south.

Before entering the staffing world, Niccole worked as a restaurant manager overseeing 35+ employees in both the front and back of the house. Responsible for scheduling, ordering, training new hires, running daily reports, handling financials, and ensuring HACCP compliance, Niccole was very used to a fast-paced environment and it was something she thrived in. As someone who enjoys a high-energy environment, Niccole’s transition from Hospitality to recruiting was an easy one.

Niccole began recruiting in Charlotte for AccruePartners where she recruited on a Recruiting Outsourcing Process (RPO) team. Niccole worked with a variety of different people within the sports world with whom she was able to help advance their careers and lives. Not long into her new role, she was promoted to Program Manager of Recruiting and managed a team of six recruiters.

Niccole was able to gain experience in both the sports industry as well as IT recruiting which lead her to ggLocators – a company where she could combine both passions. The founders of AccruePartners are the financial investors in the gaming vertical and it was an easy decision to join ggLocators.  As the Managing Director, Niccole enjoys seeing the products developers create, as well as staffing Interactive Gaming, Corporate Gamification, and Esports Operations professionals.

Outside the office, Niccole enjoys hanging at breweries, playing Call of Duty, soccer (both, in real life and FIFA), and hiking.
